A lovely weave before me
started long ago
some ends are frayed and winding
and I don't know where they go

Follow soft, not pulling
fingers always combing
seeing where they're going

singing as they're showing
winding like a fiddle
back into the middle

Strong ends now am I braiding, tying off and staying, straight and tight and holding
my weave so fine
